Breeze Airways is continuing its expansion in Florida this winter, launching four new routes between December and early 2025. New service to Florida According to Ishrion Aviation on X, Breeze airways is adding four new Florida routes this winter. One route will launch in December, while the others will launch early next year.
Most of the service additions are concentrated in Orlando, but Tampa will also receive one route. From its headquarters in Utah, Breeze will launch service from Provo Airport to Orlando International Airport (MCO) in December. Flights will operate three times weekly on the Airbus A220-300s, with 137 seats.
This will be the only nonstop service from Provo to Orlando, but Delta Air Lines operates flights from nearby Salt Lake City. Other services to Orlando will be operated from Gulfport and Ogdensburg. According to Ishrion, these routes will operate twice weekly starting in early 2025.
Additionally, Breeze will begin connecting Erie to Tampa International Airport (TPA), which will operate twice weekly. Ogdensburg International Airport Manager Charlie Garrelts, said, “Everybody knows up in the North Country it gets cold in February, and I think it will be a great getaway, or a winter getaway, down in Orlando, Florida." Garrelts added that he believes that many passengers going to the airport will be from Canada and use the international bridge.
