Concord is the latest game set to challenge the titans of online multiplayer shooters. Coming from Firewalk Studios and Sony, the 5v5 shooter was first revealed back in 2023, and more than a year on and after a few beta periods, we’re finally almost ready to dive into the full game. So whether you’re someone who was there from the start and played every single beta you could, or you’ve just discovered it recently and are excited to try it out, you’ve come to the right place.

We’ve got all the info on when the game will release, the platforms it’ll be on and the trailers for the game too. Concord is currently scheduled to release on Tuesday, August 23 2024 for both PC and PlayStation 5, as was confirmed by Sony during their May State of Play event. However, it has also been confirmed that there will be an early access period for the game.

Players who pre order the Deluxe Edition of the game will receive access to the game 72 hours early, as well as four keys to let friends play with you during that 72 hour period. The Standard Edition of Concord will cost £34.99 / $39.

99 / €39.99. Pre ordering the game got you access to the early access beta period in July, but it will not include the 72 hour early access before the game’s full launch.

The Concord Deluxe Edition is a fair bit pricier, coming in at £49.99 / $59.99 / €59.

99, but you’ll get fair few bonuses. As well as the aforementioned pre order early access bonus, the Deluxe Edition comes with a few skin packs. The Northstar Freegunner Pack will include 16 character skins, while the Vale’s Monarch Pack will include the Vale’s Monarch Frontliner Sniper Skin and the Dead Reckoner Weapon Skin Pack.

The released back in May 2023, but didn’t really show us much. We got a few shots of a ship travelling through space, as well as a look at the inside of the ship itself, but nothing else – they did call it a teaser after all. The next look we got was in May 2024 at the Sony State of Play.

This time we got a giving us a proper look at how the game looks, an introduction to a few of the Freegunners and their kit and our first look at the game’s stunning-looking maps. We’ve also had a from May featuring several of the Freegunners, giving us our first looks at their different personalities and how they all interact. Sony has teased that the lore of the Concord world is something they’re looking to expand upon in the future, so this may be the first of many cinematics for the game.
