The Mission Beach Women’s Club recently held its annual fundraiser, which drew 100 men and women and featured keynote speaker San Diego District Attorney Summer Stephan. The club raised raised $65,000 and gave the funds to local nonprofit G.R.

(Girls Rising Above Child Exploitation), which helps trafficked, exploited and at-risk youths throughout San Diego County. In addition, the club gave $33,000 in grants to a number of local nonprofits ranging from Wounded Warrior Homes, San Diego Food Bank and Reality Changers to Operation Hope San Diego and Birthline of San Diego County.
