Comedians who have chosen to make people laugh are finding ways to make the profession more impactful and lucrative. It was on this note that one of Nigeria’s fast rising Master of Ceremonies, MC and Stand-up Comedian, Damola Is My Name organised a capacity building Master Class recently in Lagos for established and aspiring Masters of ceremonies and comics tagged ‘From The Little I Know’. According to Damola Adegboye whose stage name is Damola Is My Name, ‘From The Little I Know’ is an initiative put together to share from the experiences he has gathered over the years and other facilitators to help participants appreciate their journey and also understand the dynamics of handling people and situations during events.
Asides DAMOLA being the host and a keynote speaker, the well attended masterclass also had other facilitators such as Mc Ajele, Mojibade Sosanya, Tee A, Ayo Mairo Ese, Dayo Ice and Larry J. These speakers shared their thoughts on various topics and issues surrounding anchoring corporate, social and destination events. The organiser believes that holding conversations and capacity building program like the Master class is a necessary tool for personal development and self improvement.
