Congratulations are in order as Aisling Bea has announced the birth of her first child with partner Jack Freeman . The comedy star, 40, announced she was pregnant earlier this year , enlisting the likes of Paul Rudd and Travis Kelce for help. On Monday morning, she revealed she has welcomed her baby into the world with a brilliantly tongue in cheek ‘trip advisor review of Pregnancy’, which she gave just ‘one star’.
Alongside a carousel of photos from her pregnancy and a picture of her cuddling her newborn in her arms, she joked that the negatives included a lack of breakfast, ‘limited drinks menu’, ‘expensive’ and that she was ‘left feeling very unrested’. Comparing it to ‘the Glasgow Willie Wonka experience’, she also referenced being ‘repeatedly kicked in the nuts’, as well as ‘UTIs, bleeding, depression, cramps, insomnia, nosebleeds, sinus blockage, migraines, vomiting, being randomly touched by people without asking’ and much more. However, she admitted the bath was ‘quite nice’, quipping that she had ‘lots of help with bags at end of stay’, adding: ‘Before checking out, nearby kebab shop man provided free extra chips and quite a flirty wink, which I appreciated.
’ Referencing her bundle of joy, she said: ‘Was given a little gift at check out which is, admittedly, quite cute. 👶🏼’ Her fans and friends have flooded the post with messages of support, including actress Fay Ripley, who commented: ‘Oh yes you beauty! Congratulations. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️’ ‘😍 I loved watching my bump move, it helped to cancel out the rubbish parts 😂,’ replied @vache_blea, while follower @ragdogcookie added: ‘Every mum I meet keeps telling me how much they loved pregnancy and I don’t get it.
Just looking forward to the cute free gift.’ Sharing her baby news in an iconic Instagram post, Aisling wrote: ‘Dignity Intact. Got pregnant so I could try & put something beside Paul Rudd’s face to make him look older.
’ She included a snap of her exposed belly with a smiley face drawn on it while fellow comedian Paul put his face up against her growing bump. Aisling then explained that her unusual set of photos had been taken at a charity event in Kansas City over the weekend, where she was snapped alongside Travis Kelce and also acted as a back-up dancer for Sheryl Crow. ‘Thanks to the @bigslickkc , Paul, @sethherzog super boy @travisKelce & mostly our angel @sherylcrow for helping me show off my bump in the most dignified & classy way possible.
Sheryl said myself & Seth could be her very professional back up dancers with our ridiculous idea, how on brand! She really does just wanna have some fun, yawl,’ she added. She then went on to thank both her partner and make-up artist for their assistance. ‘And thanks to @jackoby.
