Coldplay is finally bringing to Ahmedabad its Music of the Sphere’s World Tour with a concert on January 25th and 26th at the Narendra Modi Stadium, with tickets starting at Rs 2,500 for the upper stands and premium seats costing Rs 12,500. Tickets for the 25th are already sold out, whilst fans are crushed at the ticketing queue for the next day’s gig. Amid all the cacophony, hotels and lodges around the stadium and the city have reportedly hiked the rates, with even non-5-star hotels charging no less than 1 lakh for a two-night stay.
Fans are requesting the band to choose a better ticketing platform amid all the chaos of randomization. “Jab tak mere ko na mile (shows) add karte jao Chris bhaiya.” Earlier for the band’s Mumbai shows on January 18, 19, and 21, hotels near the concert venue were sold out for seven days starting January 13 till 23rd.
Reportedly, a luxury hotel canceled the advanced booking of patrons, allegedly to increase the pricing for the concert. ✨ SECOND 2025 AHMEDABAD DATE ANNOUNCED The band will play a second show at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on 26 January, 2025. Tickets on sale TODAY at 1PM IST.
