A coffee shop is set to close this weekend after three years - with owners announcing new plans for the business . Common and Coffee on Chorley Old Road will close on Saturday, September 28. The café shares the space with Common Barber, which opened in 2019.

Owner Andy Partington will not leave the premises, however, and is looking to turn the coffee shop into a deli with friend Jonny Eckersley. The barber will be open for business as usual. Common and Coffee (Image: Common and Coffee) Andy said: "It is bittersweet, but it is all positive.



We are going for a full rebrand, trying to bring something new to the local area. We had that with the coffee shop, and need to grow from here. "Something very exciting is happening with the shop, we are rebranding it into more of a deli and sandwich shop.
