FORNEY- Code Ninjas Forney invites the community to its grand opening event on October 24, 2024, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.
m. Come discover the place where kids (ages 5-14) become coding ninjas while creating their own video games. Located at Opportunity Central, The OC, 680 Innovation Blvd, Forney, TX 75126, this event promises to be a fun-filled evening for the whole family.
“We’re excited to bring our community together for the grand opening of Code Ninjas,” said Dr. Justin Terry, Superintendent of Forney ISD. “Our goal is to empower kids to learn coding and problem-solving skills that will prepare them for future success, helping them build a foundation that will benefit them for years to come.
” Code Ninjas Forney, operated by Forney ISD, is more than just a learning center—it’s a place where gaming and STEM go hand-in-hand, and where fun is at the heart of learning. Code Ninjas programs are designed to inspire kids to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills while having a blast. In the spirit of Opportunity Central and providing real-life, on-the-job experiences for high school juniors and seniors, OC students are employed as “senseis” and assist young ninjas with their coding experiences.
