In a significant move, state revenue officials have issued notices to Anumula Tirupati Reddy, brother of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, citing encroachment on Full Tank Level (FTL) land of the Durgam Cheruvu lake. The notices state that Tirupati Reddy’s residence and office, located in Amar Co-operative Society, Madhapur, fall within the FTL zone. The notice, affixed to Tirupati Reddy’s rented house, was issued under Section 23 (1) of the Telangana Water, Land, and Trees Act, 2002.

The authorities have given a 30-day period for voluntary demolition of the structures. Similar notices have been served to multiple properties in the vicinity, including those in Kavuri Hills, Nector Colony, Doctors Colony, and Amar Co-operative Society. The affected homeowners and businesses have been granted a one-month period to comply with the orders and remove the encroachments on their own.
