TV darling Claudia Winkleman had to wave goodbye to three cherished Saturday night routines when she stepped into Bruce Forsyth's shoes as the host of Strictly Come Dancing in 2010. The much-loved star, who calls film producer Kris Thykier her husband and is a mum of three, confessed back then that she was "like a little old lady" tucked up in bed by 10pm every Saturday. In a candid chat with The Telegraph in 2010, Claudia spilled the beans about her pre-Strictly nights: "I’m usually in bed by 10pm after a long hot bath.
I am as obsessive about bathing and showering as I am about sleep." These days, however, with Strictly in full swing recording those dazzling live episodes, she's stationed at Hertfordshire’s Elstree Studios, not wrapping up until well past the witching hour each Saturday – fans applying for show tickets are tipped off filming wraps around 11pm.
