So says Liam Hodnett of Hodnett Forde auctioneers who is seeking offers of €495,000 for the 90 year old property which has been extended twice over the years and now has six bedrooms. “Located within a ten minute drive from Bantry, it’s scenically situated and has views of the Caha mountains at the rear," he says noting that it comes with an acre of mature gardens with a hen house, a hen run and a polytunnel.

The current owners have extended and renovated since buying it 20 years ago and, more recently, have built a detached modern two-bed lodge which could be used for guests.
