Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s Citadel: Honey Bunny is the prequel to Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden’s Citadel (2023). Directed by Raj & DK, the series follows events that took place between 1992 and 2000. The 6-episode show is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
The Citadel universe is interconnected and Priyanka’s character Nadia happens to be the daughter of Samantha’s Honey and Varun’s Bunny. Her backstory has been explored in the Hindi version of the spy thriller. At a premiere, Priyanka watched Citadel: Honey Bunny and shared her review in an interview.
Priyanka praises Citadel: Honey Bunny Talking to Vogue, Priyanka said she loved Samantha and Varun in the show. The actress shared, “Samantha is incredible in the show. There is a connection between my character Nadia and Honey and Bunny which was really fun for me to enjoy.
I just think Varun and her were amazing. The writing was brilliant. Raj & DK are so good.
