Would you ever let Chris Hemsworth give you a haircut? One brave audience member at Jimmy Kimmel Live decided to take the chance. During his recent appearance, Chris turned hairstylist and gave the person a bowl cut. The Avengers star claimed that this hairstyle is quite popular in his home country, Australia.

The fun began when host Jimmy Kimmel shared a photo of Chris’ twin sons, Sasha and Tristan, showing bowl cuts with a mullet in the back. Chris revealed that after Tristan gave himself a haircut, Sasha wanted the same look and asked his actor father to become his personal barber, but “under strict instruction.” To add some excitement, Jimmy encouraged audience members to volunteer for a haircut from Chris and a person named, Liam, with long hair stepped forward.

While the individual was getting the haircut, Jimmy jokingly said, “I like so far we got, kind of a Darthy Hamel look and now it’s getting more of a Jim Carrey Dumb and Dumber type of look.” Liam revealed that he is a student who will soon begin his classes at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He further jokingly mentioned that he hoped his fresh haircut might help him get a girlfriend.

When the host asked, “You think you’ll scare the children when you go to school,” the young man agreed and added, “They might kick me out.” Jimmy Kimmel asked Chris Hemsworth if his parents used to cut his hair when he was a kid. The Transformers One star agreed and said he has a picture of himself with a bowl cut from his younger days.

The host then jokingly pointed out that he chose “to inflict the same pain on your own children,” to which Chris explained that it was his children who actually asked for it. However, Jimmy praised Chris’ skills and claimed he was impressed by how careful and precise he was with the scissors. It’s not complete bowl, its bowl and then it drops down, its bit like Megatron’s Helmet or Darth Vader.” Later, Jimmy asked Chris if everything was fine when his sons went to school with their new haircuts. Chris explained that all the kids in his son’s class ended up getting the same style.

It started when one of his sons and a few of his friends decided to give each other this haircut. He mentioned that his younger son even carries a comb in his pocket and once went to a barber for a perfectly straight cut. Chris joked that he didn’t think the barber wanted to take responsibility for such a tricky style.
