Chloe Madeley has opened up about why her famous parents, Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan, aren't "hands-on grandparents". The personal trainer has a two-year-old daughter Bodhi with ex-husband James Haskell. She has now revealed that her parents are "omni-present" in her daughter's life.
But she says they often take a more hands-off approach to grandparenting because the toddler can be "too much" for them. However, Chloe insists that her parents have been a significant support system since she announced her pregnancy, reports the Mirror . In an interview with Closer magazine, when asked if her parents were "hands-on", Chloe responded: "If hands-on means that they take Bodhi for the day and have her overnight, then no, they're not.
But they are omni-present in her life." She added: "They're at my house or we're at their house. They've been a huge support system to me since I got pregnant and continue to be so.
" Chloe also suggested that as Bohdi gets older and less likely to run into danger, her parents would be more than happy to spend the day with her. She said: "When she's a bit older and less likely to, say, run out into the road, then I know they'll be happy to have her for the day or longer. She's just too much for them at the moment - I wouldn't want to spoil their day.
" Reflecting on her own upbringing, Chloe praised her television star parents as the "gold standard" of parenting, feeling like she "hit the jackpot" with her mum and dad.
