Thursday, January 2, 2025 China Southern Airlines unveils a new Shenyang-Dubai route with a Guangzhou stopover, delivering seamless travel, modern services, and enhanced connectivity. On December 28, 2024, China Southern Airlines inaugurated a new route connecting Shenyang, the capital of Liaoning Province in northeast China, with Dubai in the UAE. The service, operated by an Airbus A330-300, includes a stopover in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province.

This new link simplifies travel between the two cities by eliminating the need for additional transfers. It also highlights the airline’s commitment to strengthening the Guangzhou-Dubai sector with expanded services and modernized aircraft options The weekly service runs every Saturday, departing Shenyang Taoxian International Airport at 8:10 am (Beijing Time) and arriving in Dubai at 7:20 pm (local time). The return flight leaves Dubai at 9:20 pm (local time) the same day and touches down in Shenyang at 1:45 pm (Beijing Time) on Sunday.



The inaugural flight saw approximately 80% of tickets sold, catering to passengers traveling for business, education, work, family visits, and leisure. As one of China’s largest cities, Shenyang offers an abundance of attractions, from cultural landmarks to natural wonders. Notable sites include the Shenyang Botanical Garden, Beiling Park, Wuai Market, Zhao Mausoleum, Mukden Palace, Shenyang Dongling Park, Qipan Mountain, and the seasonal Qipanshan Ice and Snow World.
