Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ baby girl, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas has been a fighter ever since her birth. She was born to the celebrity couple via surrogacy on January 15, 2022. However, the couple couldn’t bring her home immediately as she was premature.

After spending over 100 days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at an LA hospital, she was given to her parents in May 2022. During an emotional conversation with Today, the actress said she didn’t have the luxury to be scared and had to be strong for her baby.



“I realized very, very early that I did not have the luxury to be scared or to be weak because she was scared and weak. And I had to be her strength as her mom. I needed to make her feel at every given moment that she’s not alone .
