As automakers shift to meet rising demand for SUVs and trucks, numerous popular models will be phased out after the 2024 model year. Iconic automobiles like the Chevrolet Camaro , Mitsubishi Mirage , and Nissan Titan are due to be phased out as automakers reorganise their portfolios. This change is similar to the end of an era for these models, which have won the hearts of many fans over the years.

With manufacturing ending and new models on the way, car enthusiasts are encouraged to move swiftly to grab these now-rare vehicles before they become automotive history. Discontinued cars from 2025 Chevrolet Camaro Chevrolet has announced the end of the line for the sixth-generation Camaro after the 2024 model year. Scott Bell, Vice President of Global Chevrolet, expressed deep appreciation for Camaro enthusiasts and hinted that while the current generation is ending, the Camaro's story isn't over.



Ford Edge Ford's Oakville Assembly plant in Ontario has ceased production of the Edge, a midsize SUV, as it retools to expand production of the profitable F-Series Super Duty truck. This strategic shift aims to meet the high demand for Ford’s commercial vehicles, with the Super Duty becoming a centrepiece of their commercial lineup. Mitsubishi Mirage Mitsubishi will end production of the Mirage for the U.

S. market by the end of this year. According to Mitsubishi spokesperson Jeremy Barnes, dealer stock should last into the summer of 2025, giving enthusiasts a bit more time to purchase the compact car.

Mini Clubman Mini concluded production of the Clubman, a small station wagon, in February. The electric Mini Aceman crossover is set to take its place, with a global launch expected this fall, although availability in the U.S.

has yet to be confirmed. Nissan GT-R The Nissan GT-R, a staple in the sports car world for over 17 years, will produce its final North American units in October. Nissan is commemorating the GT-R's legacy with limited edition models: the T-spec Takumi Edition and the Skyline Edition, which will be available at select dealers.

Nissan Titan Nissan announced that production of the Titan will end in summer 2024 as the company retools its Canton, Mississippi plant to focus on electric vehicles. This move marks the end of a 20-year chapter for the Titan, a key player in Nissan's North American lineup. Fisker Ocean Fisker has halted production of its Ocean electric SUV amid regulatory investigations and waning demand.

Magna International, which manufactured the vehicle, has ceased further production, leaving Fisker's future uncertain. Ram 1500 TRX The Ram 1500 TRX, known for its high performance, wrapped up production at the end of last year. However, Ram is celebrating the model's legacy with a special edition for 2024, the RAM 1500 TRX 6.

2L Supercharged V8 - Final Edition, limited to 4,000 units. Chevrolet Malibu After nine generations, General Motors will retire the Chevrolet Malibu in November 2025. The midsize sedan's discontinuation aligns with GM's investment in producing electric vehicles at its Fairfax Assembly Plant.

Volvo S60 Volvo will cease production of the S60 luxury sedan for the U.S. market after the 2025 model year.

The Ridgeville, South Carolina, plant will be reconfigured to build the fully electric EX90 SUV. Subaru Legacy The Subaru Legacy, a long-standing model in the midsize sedan market, will end production next year. Introduced in 1989 as Subaru’s first U.

S.-manufactured car, the Legacy’s discontinuation reflects the industry’s shift toward SUVs and electrification. Luxury brand models Luxury brands are also trimming their lineups.

Jaguar's F-Type sports car, Maserati's Ghibli, and Alfa Romeo's Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio models will all be discontinued after 2024, closing chapters on some of the industry's most celebrated performance vehicles.
