Aussie film star Isla Fisher has become a seasoned traveller. And the Wedding Crashers star never flies without one luxury. "I always travel in a tracksuit and I always wear these really yummy cashmere socks that I was given as a gift one Christmas, and shoes that slip on and off," she tells 9Travel.

"When I had teeny tiny, under the age of two or three, children, I used to bring Cheerio's, which are a type of cereal with a hole in the middle, and string, and we would just make sort of thread Cheerio's onto string, just for something to do," she tells 9Travel. "And I would time the flight, naps wise, with their own schedule." Now they're older there's always something she likes to check before letting them loose with the in flight entertainment, she said.
"Best to do a bit of research and recon before you get on, because some of them that they say are PG 13 can have images or themes or even what dialogue that's really inappropriate," she said, "You don't realise until you land, then suddenly your kids are having nightmares from something that looked really harmless on the plane."
