Critically acclaimed electro-pop artist Róisín Murphy had the best reaction to being handed a mysterious package of white powder on stage. The Irish singer, songwriter and record producer first shot to fame in the 90s as one half of pop duo, Moloko, with English musician Mark Brydon. When the band split, she launched her solo career with her debut album Ruby Blue, released in 2005, garnering critical acclaim.

Currently, Róisín is on tour with her beloved album Hit Parade, which came out last year. Working closely with her "brilliant band", the musician described the tour as “a live music experience with exceptional lighting and visual elements". Recently, the singer shared footage of herself performing at the legendary Flower Power party at Pacha in Ibiza to social media.

In the clip, she’s kneeling on the stage near the front row and is very close to the audience. At one point, the colourfully kitted out artist is handed a small, clear plastic bag with a white powdered substance inside. Initially, she took the item before realising what it was then quickly handed it back to her fan.

She burst into laughter after the interaction. After being offered the packet again, the musician simply shook her head “no”. Captioning the clip, which was taken by someone in the crowd, Róisín penned: “Sorry guys but I cannot [accept] random little white packets while I’m performing! [laughing, crying and smiling emojis].

It’s the thought that counts though." Fans floc.
