Charleston resident Danny McBride is normally brewing up something for his hit TV show "The Righteous Gemstones." But this time he's been concocting something else: a tequila. Don Gato Reposado McBride just launched Tequila Don Gato , which is available now across the Palmetto State.

The additive-free tequila comes straight from Mexico along with, of course, a story from the weird, wacky and wonderful depths of McBride's imagination. According to his backstory, the tequila is made by the infamous Don Gato, a luchador who's never lost a match and is a notorious cat lover. Don Gato "makes tequila so good" that McBride had to bring it stateside.

McBride has created a few comedic video sagas around the concept, as well, alongside "Eastbound and Down" co-star Steve Little, which you can watch at dongatotequila.com . McBride teamed up with "Halloween" collaborator David Gordon Green to shoot the videos.
