"My mum always kept a tidy bench, and all the Tupperware was lined up perfectly," she said.

"We were always well-dressed and well-presented." After living in Melbourne, Ms Jones noticed a gap in the industry and realised the growing demand for her skills. "I'd go to people's houses to help them out," she said.



"I started with a family of four with twins. She'd leave me in the house and say, 'Just do what needs to be done,' and then that's when word got around." When Ms Jones relocated to Wodonga in 2021, she had a light bulb moment while working in retail.

"I wondered why don't I do my decluttering full-time?" she said. She then enrolled in a 12-month program at Asuria Wodonga, an employment agency that supported her decision to launch her own business. "It was really helpful," she said.

"They guided me through promoting myself, accounting, and running a business, and after 12 months of mentoring, I jumped straight in." Though her journey has had a slow start, Ms Jones remains optimistic. "I'm getting there," she said.

Organise My Chaos offers more than just decluttering; meal preparation, budgeting, wardrobe organisation, and even makeup and beauty. "Whatever anyone needs help with, I can help," she said. While some jobs can feel overwhelming, it's the before and after transformations that keep her motivated.

"It's not just your typical time-poor people," she said. " , and even extreme cases like hoarders who feel stuck in their own homes." Despite the challenges, Ms Jones finds her work rewarding.

"I'm not in this to make a lot of money. I want people to see that I genuinely want to change the way they live," she said. "I've had so many moments where I've thought, 'What am I doing?' But one day, I hope people will recognise Organise My Chaos and say, 'That's Stacey', and I'll have a great business with more staff, too.
