Fans have made some hilarious responses to Laurel Stucky ’s latest angry rant against The Challenge production team. As The Challenge 40 : Battle of the Eras premiered last night, one contestant was left fuming about how the show had been edited. Somewhat predictably, 39-year-old Laurel - who was the first challenger to earn safety in last night's fast-paced episode - took to social media to slam the show for “dramatic” editing and for making it look like the competition was closer than it was.

” On Reddit , fans had some pretty hilarious responses and were quick to remind the fiery contestant that she was taking part in a reality TV show - not the Olympics. One wrote: “Girl you won, who gives af about the margin of time,” while another added: “girl this isn’t the olympics its reality tv.” A third chimed in, sarcastically quipping: “‘I hate when producers edit the TV show to be exciting.

’” Asking whether Laurel knew what she had signed up for, another viewer joked: “Does Laurel know she’s on an EDITED reality tv show? Or did she forget?” A fifth dispaired: “Gawwwd who cares Laurel?! Speaking about the “negative” response she has received since rising to fame on the show, the two-time champ explained that it was “a lot” for her to deal with, especially considering she is just "a regular person” without the backing or support of a publicist team.

Opening up to Entertainment Weekly about the scrutiny she continues to face, she added: "And sometimes that gets in the way of me celebrating and really taking in the blessings that this show has brought to my life.”.
