Celebs Go Dating 's Tristan Phipps and Chris Taylor are seen both trying to woo the same sexy singleton as the dating show makes an explosive return to screens. In the first episode of the new series, which airs on Monday (August 19), viewers will see the first ever masked mixer, encouraging the celebrities to get to know their potential dates based on personality and connect over good chat, rather than falling into the trap of physical attraction. The agents are impressed by pop star Jamelia’s eagerness and emotional intelligence, describing her as a ray of sunshine.

She isn’t afraid to put herself out there as she works the room. Will her potential dates be as impressed as the agents? MAFS UK beauty Ella Morgan and former Corrie actress Helen Flanagan throw themselves into the mixer, they both ooze confidence but agents fear they both overshare a little. They feel that Ella seems to talk too much and not listen enough, and Helen’s small talk definitely needs some work.

However, the battle of the boys commences with Love Island's Chris and Made in Chelsea's Tristan sharing similar taste in the ladies at the mixer. It appears Chris is slightly intimidated by Tristan’s charm and good looks, and the agents observe that he may use his humour to mask his insecurities but who’s going to win? In a new clip. experts Anna Williamson and Dr Tara Suwinyattichaiporn discuss the potential "battle of the boys".

Anna says: "I think this dynamic between Chris and Tristan is going be very interesting." Tara agrees: "Yeah, I like it." Anna says: "This is one lucky lady.

I mean. both boys, they are all over her." Tara wondered: "Is there a duel?" Anna then asks the question: "Who's going to win?" During the chat between Tristan, Chris and the mystery blonde singleton, Tristan says: "Someone coming second is a good thing though.

" Chris jokes: "That was smooth." Speaking to the camera, Chris says: "This guy has been practicing lines in the mirror." Back to the room, he tells Tristan: "I don't think I said one line like that in the last four hours.

" The blonde beauty points out: "You need to tips off him" and Chris agrees: "I think I do don't I." Elsewhere, Former Gogglebox star Stephen Lustig-Webb, who has been out of the dating game for a long time was like a kid in a candy store, but appears to have missed the brief when it comes to how many dates he can choose.
