Love Island's Georgia Harrison and TOWIE personality Pete Wicks are confirmed to join the new season of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins. They will endure the extreme challenges of SAS winter warfare training in the wilds of New Zealand's southern islands for the Channel 4 show's sixth series. The unique format of this reality series means contestants are not eliminated in the traditional sense, but can be cut by the directing staff or voluntarily withdraw, with the ultimate winners being those who remain until the end.

Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins from Sunday airs on Channel 4 on September 22. Accompanying Georgia and Pete on their gruelling journey will be Doctor Who and Torchwood star John Barrowman and journalist Rachel Johnson, known also as Boris Johnson's sister from her time on Celebrity Big Brother. This comes alongside his current role on BBC's Strictly Come Dancing. Previously, he had to exit the show during his initial run after sustaining rib injuries in Jordan's series four.

Drawing on the lessons from that experience, Wicks expressed his resolve to return: "After being medically withdrawn in Jordan, I felt like I hadn't given it my best, and that bothered me. So when I got an opportunity to go back, I jumped in, and I would do it again." Georgia, who gained popularity from Love Island in 2017 and joined the All-Star cast earlier this year, shared her excitement: "It completely lived up to my expectation.

It was like something off a movie...

it was just brilliant...

and as much as there were times that I had to overcome the challenges I had to overcome, I wouldn't change it for the world.", reports OK! . Marnie Simpson of Geordie Shore fame also opened up about her experience on the show, saying: "I definitely didn't comprehend how tough it would be.

..it was very raw and very real! ".

Celebrities including TV star Bianca Gascoigne, former England rugby captain Chris Robshaw, presenter Cherry Healey, boxing professional Anthony Ogogo, comedian Shazia Mirza, and TOWIE's Bobby Norris are gearing up to face the daunting training. They will be joined by gymnastic talent Ellie Downie, comic Tez Ilyas, basketball star Ovie Soko, and champion boxer Lani Daniels, adding glamour to the high-profile ensemble. Leading the pack once again is chief instructor Billy Billingham, supported by his dependable team members Jason 'Foxy' Fox, Rudy Reyes, Chris Oliver, and now bolstered by ex-Special Forces psychologist Dr Alia Bojilova.

The celebrities will be pushing their limits amidst severe weather and intense training exercises on the challenging series. Billy has made his expectations clear for the upcoming season, stating: "As our course progresses, the standards expected will never faulter. From the very first second, the recruits will be expected to give 100%.

Anyone not doing so will be gone before they have time to make their excuses. Our time is invaluable we will not waste it on anyone not worthy." Watch Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins from Sunday 22 September, 9pm, Channel 4.
