On Wednesday's instalment of This Morning, hosts Rochelle Humes and Joel Dommett took a moment to speak to Jeff Brazier about taking part in Celebrity Race Across the World. During the live competition segment of the ITV show, Rochelle highlighted how nice it is to witness their father and son bond. Jeff agreed, saying that although viewers enjoy watching the stunning locations they get to visit, it's also about personal journeys the competitors go through.

He said: "He's 19, I feel like he's going to move out soon as well as his brother (Bobby). I'm not pushing them out by any stretch of the imagination. I just know that my time to really get the most of both of them is coming to an end.

Bob's had some incredible life experiences in his young years and I felt it was Freddie's turn really for him to do something incredible." Jeff told the two hosts that doing the experience with his youngest was a fantastic opportunity. Praising Freddie, Joel confessed the 19-year-old comes across on the show extremely well as he said: "You must be so proud as a father to connect with him on that level.

" Appreciating the compliment, the 45-year-old revealed it wasn't as easy as he had intended it to be. He explained that at home, they're quick to resolve any problems that come up, although the added pressures from the show made it difficult. Jeff continued: "The truth is, Freddie is the best person that I know, let alone the best person in the family that I could've taken to race so I'm really glad that people get the opportunity to see the other child of mine! "But, most importantly Fred gets a chance to see himself and he's the first to impress us but he's actually the last to realise why he's special.

I think that's why it's beautiful for him to of been on there." Celebrity Race Across the World kicked off last week as BBC viewers saw four teams consisting of well-known faces and their loved ones take on an epic journey. With a limited budget, they're tasked with travelling thousands of miles to reach the finish line.

Starting in Northern Brazil, they all need to pass through five checkpoints before ending in Southern Chile. Also competing in the show includes actor Kola Bokinni and his cousin Mary Ellen, broadcaster Kelly Brook and her husband, Jeremy and Radio 2 host Scott Mills and his husband (then fiancé), Sam. This Morning continues weekdays on ITV from 10am.
