org/ccf-day-of-dance-ballet-masterclass-registration/ For almost two years, the Carole Cascio Fund For Mind Movement Dance Connections has enriched our local community with its beautiful exposures to and experiences with the art of dance. Executive Director of this fund, Peter Pucci, shares that he is excited to bring “quality dance from New York City.” He is excited to “give the opportunity [to all] to see good, professional dance and celebrate dance.

” Pucci cherishes the past local dance events and the excitement of bringing all ages of the community together to enjoy dance. Also, mark your calendar for Nov. 2, for another Carole Cascio Fund dance event entitled “A World Day of Dance” at Chesapeake College’s Todd Performing Arts Center.

This free day of dance will include dance classes with traditional Chinese Dance teacher, Rose Xinran Qi, South Indian Dance form with Deepti Mukund, and Traditional and Contemporary West African dance with Sylvia Soumah. This event is offered to dancers 12 and above. There will also be culminating performances by the dance teachers followed by a Q&A time as well.

Pucci credits and thanks the community for their support in making not only all these dreams and big ideas come to life but also for helping to remember and celebrate Carole Cascio. For Cascio says, “as we experience our world through moving in it and dancing about it, we remind ourselves of the truth and knowledge that is stored, away from awareness. When a dance is performed and watched, both dancer and audience share another person’s awareness conveyed by a language that is universal and for which no words suffice.

” If you have questions about these events, would like to donate to the Carol Cascio fund, or want more information, please contact Peter Pucci at [email protected] or visit the website at https://www.carolecasciofund.
