Saturday, November 30, 2024 The holiday season got off to an exhilarating start at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, the nation’s largest children’s museum, with a spectacular indoor snowball fight led by Santa Claus himself. This unique event brought joy to families as faux snowballs flew across a festive wonderland designed to ignite holiday spirit and create unforgettable memories. Santa Claus made a thrilling entrance, sliding down the museum’s iconic 47-foot-long Winter Slide to kick off the festivities.

Armed with over 3,000 faux snowballs, the Jolly Old Elf invited children and adults alike to join in an epic snowball fight. Families embraced their playful sides, sharing laughter and excitement in a seasonal celebration like no other. Adding to the fun were the museum’s beloved mascot, Rex the T.



rex , and mascots from local sports teams, Indy Eleven and Indy Fuel , who joined the snowball battle. This interactive event showcased the museum’s commitment to creating engaging and inclusive experiences for visitors of all ages. After the snowball fight, families ventured into WinterFaire , a magical indoor carnival that transformed the museum into a festive wonderland.
