Yu Ting Yuan, a Cantonese dining spot located in the Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River, welcomes visitors to partake in the 2024 Mid-Autumn Festival with a special range of limited-edition mooncakes prepared by Chef Tommy Cheung.
Chef Tommy Cheung shares his inspiration behind this year’s mooncake collection : “The Mid-Autumn Festival holds a special place in my heart, inspiring these mooncakes that blend tradition with the luxurious essence of Four Seasons. Each mooncake is a testament to culinary excellence, meticulously prepared to ensure an unforgettable sensory experience.” Chef Tommy Cheung has curated an exceptional assortment for this year’s celebration.
“For me, each mooncake represents a story. It’s about creating a sensory journey that evokes nostalgia and joy, especially during the Mid-Autumn Festival,” smiles Chef Tommy . Each set of mooncakes comes in a special commemorative collector’s box, adorned with a deep burgundy exterior and gold foil highlights.
The box also includes a blind embossed magnetic closure, showcasing Four Seasons’ commitment to high quality and enhancing the overall gifting experience. “I invite everyone to join us in celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival with these special mooncakes. It’s a time to cherish traditions, create memories, and indulge in the finest flavours,” invites Chef Tommy .
Each exclusive set features four 140-gram mooncakes, including Traditional Lotus Paste Salted Egg Yolk and Durian Salted Egg Yolk varieties, available for THB 2,488 net. The 70-gram sets contain eight mooncakes with flavors like Lotus Paste Salted Egg Yolk, Durian Salted Egg Yolk, Custard Salted Egg Yolk, and Mango Pine Nuts, priced at THB 1,488 per box, net. These limited-edition mooncake sets are now open for pre-order, requiring at least 48 hours’ notice.
