CELEBRITY: SAS Who Dares Wins star Chris Robshaw and his wife Camilla Kerslake have welcomed their second baby at home. Rugby ace Chris revealed that he thought he would have to deliver their son after their midwife got stuck in rush hour traffic. Two ambulances and six paramedics rushed to their home in Surrey after Camilla went into labour two weeks early.

"I thought I was going to have to deliver the baby, but they sent an ambulance instead,” Chris told OK! Magazine. The couple, who had their first son Wilder in 2021, praised the emergency services who helped deliver their son Hunter. "They were all incredible, but my midwife arrived, perhaps an hour later than she would have liked, and we did have the birth plan we wanted," Camilla added.

She said how her mum also rushed to their five-bedroom home after she was stuck in the same traffic as the midwife. Camilla had Hunter in a birthing pool and said it took four hours from start to finish. The singer described the birth as "dramatic in the middle", but joked that it would be a good story for when he's older.

She gave birth to Wilder in San Diego and said that home births in the US are "incredibly medicalised". Hunter emerged to Songbird by Eva Cassidy which Camilla revealed was one of her favourite songs. She said that she pushed him out in one contraction, which she said was due to her singing, weightlifting and long-term yoga practice.

Just one hour after Hunter was born the couple tucked into pizza and had a good night sleep in their own bed. Their eldest son was there for the entire birth and Camilla said he was "her oxytocin". The couple wanted a unisex name and one associated with nature.

Camilla, who grew up in New Zealand, said that her newborn son was named after Kiwi actress Rachel Hunter. "She's a hero there and the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. We just wanted a powerful name," Camilla said.

I thought I was going to have to deliver the baby, but they sent an ambulance instead Chris retired as a rugby union player earlier this year and now works in business development for an insurance company. He has been enjoying paternity leave, which he didn't get when he became dad to Wilding as he was playing rugby. Chris said that he had to go back to work the day after Wilding's birth.

He said that since they welcomed Hunter in July, Wilder has been struggling with jealousy..
