The star disappointed the staff in the show and was called in for a private chat. As they pressed Marnie, she confessed that recent events played a big part in why she joined the show.

The emotional reality star burst into tears as she revealed: “I’ve had really bad anxiety for about six years - I don’t really want to talk about it. But that’s because my dad died out of the blue . I feel really fragile, I don’t want to talk about it.

” Through her tears, the star managed to say more, she added “When that happened, it set off a lot of health anxiety, a lot of death anxiety. And then I nearly died in childbirth and was poorly for two and a half years after, I couldn’t even look after my own baby. “So I feel like all of that has just made me feel unconfident and anxious, I’m always thinking the worst and never want to push myself in certain situations.

I’m always so fearful.” Marnie lost her dad in 2018 and told MTV that he “was a drinker and had underlying heart disease”, she also added that she felt “regret” for pushing him out of her life. Sign up to OK!'s TV newsletter to g.
