Caravans have once again taken over a beachside encampment with the unauthorised encampment continuing to move across Sussex. Dozens of caravans have parked in Goring Gap this morning after being moved on from Hove Lawns earlier this week. It comes after caravans were also parked in Lancing yesterday evening with police once again attending to liaise with the camp.

Sussex Police were also called to the new camp in Marine Drive, Goring this morning with motorhomes stretched across the seaside field. T he camp has already been moved on from Hove Lawns having arrived on Thursday evening and taking over the park on Friday morning.



It comes after a similar camp was seen in Goring Gap just two weeks ago before moving to football pitches just north of Goring. In Lancing, caravans and other vehicles parked up in the field alongside the Lancing Beach Green skate park. Previously a spokesman for Sussex Police said: "Police were called to a report of an unauthorised encampment off Kingsway Court, Queens Gardens, Hove shortly after 7pm on Thursday, July 25.
