Reggae artiste Captain Love believes in the power of positive thinking, which is why he is always optimistic, no matter what he's going through. "From as early as I can remember, my dear mother taught me and my siblings the importance of having a positive mindset. She was a firm believer in Jesus; maybe that's why she was so optimistic.

She instilled in us a belief that as long as we maintained a positive outlook on life and did the right things, everything would be alright," said the artiste. The Canada-based singer, who originally hails from Spanish Town, St Catherine, is currently promoting his single titled Dreaming Big . "This song was inspired by mom's teachings.

Life in Spanish Town was very challenging, but my mother always encouraged my siblings and I to dream big. She taught us to use everything we learnt in school and our God-given talents to survive and achieve our goals. Her teachings and guidance have always kept us on the right track," he said.

Captain Love said that he is pleased with the response that the song is getting in Jamaica and Canada. "It's also picking up steam in other territories, such as the US, England, Africa and Europe. My team and I are putting a lot of promotion behind it.

I have to big up all my team members, especially my manager Ken Solomon of Hott Waxx Promotions," he said..
