Cancun, Q.R. — The Cancun International Airport is back to its normal operations after a CrowdStrike update glitch Friday.

The glitch left numerous sectors, including airports, unable to do business across the globe. In total, 187 flights at the Cancun airport were affected Friday alone by operating system-based IT. As of Sunday, Governor Mara Lezama reported that the Emergency Operations Center of the Cancun International Airport announced that everything has returned to normal.



The Governor says that flights have returned to normal without delays or cancellations, inviting tourists to enjoy their vacation with complete peace of mind.
