Camille Gottlieb is well-known for channelling her late grandmother, Princess Grace Kelly of Monaco, when she attends the country’s most dazzling royal events. Today has been no different, as she paid tribute to the style icon while joining and Prince Albert II to celebrate Monaco’s National Day. The 26-year-old daughter of Princess Stéphanie of Monaco and former palace guard Jean Raymond Gottlieb was joined by a whole of Monegasque royals for the day’s events, including heir to the throne Prince Jacques and his twin sister Princess Gabriella.

But all eyes were on Camille when the family gathered for a photo in the royal palace courtyard today. Wearing an elegant green double-breasted car coat, the activist and influencer looked the spitting image of her grandmother on one of her most influential outings. It was 1961 when Grace Kelly was welcomed to the White House.



Just four months after President Kennedy took office, he and his wife, Jackie Kennedy, hosted Kelly and Prince Rainier III for a luncheon in their honour. The Princess of Monaco had just been inducted into the International Best-Dressed Hall of Fame, and most certainly dressed accordingly. Who dressed the Monegasque royal for this most grandiose of diplomatic double dates? None other than Hubert de Givenchy, whose designs were not only beloved by the likes of Audrey Hepburn, but by both Jackie O and Grace Kelly.
