Police were called to the scene in London on Tuesday, November 12. The incident resulted in Carriage Gates – one of the most prominent entrances to the Palace of Westminster – being closed temporarily as officers responded.
Police cars were seen parked outside the gates and the area was cordoned off. Now Lewis Allington has been charged with two offences of being in possession of an offensive weapon..
