Fans of the hugely popular BBC drama Call the Midwife have been given a massive season 14 update and shown a backstage picture. The popular programme shared a behind-the-scenes photo of the actors on set and said that filming was only a few weeks away from ending. The image posted to Instagram shows Nurse Crane (Linda Bassett), Shelagh Turner (Laura Main) and Sister Monica Joan (Judy Parfitt) filming a scene in a church.
In the photograph, Nurse Crane can be seen gesturing with her little finger as if she is about to make a pinky promise about something, according to The Sun .
