Ananya Panday is all set to debut on the OTT space, with her much awaited series Call Me Bae, the trailer of which was launched earlier today. The series sees her in the role of Bella, aka Bae, a stereotypical Delhi richie, who is living the dream life with luxury cars, mansion and even an insta perfect wedding! However, life gives her a rude shock when the family loses all its money, leaving the heiress in a limbo. In the city, Ananya’s character faces various challenges, including living in a house with a leaking roof, commuting in auto-rickshaws, and job hunting.

To this Ananya asks, where have I heard that before?, a call back to Siddhant Chaturvedi saying "jahan humare sapne poore hote hain, wahan inka struggle shuru hota hai." The same was said by Siddhant at the Newcomer’s Roundtable 2019, when Ananya started talking about her father Chunky Panday 's struggle, and how he never appeared on Koffee With Karan or been part of a Dharma project.
