Whether you are a coffee geek who has a whole setup at home or someone who loves visiting Insta-worthy cafes for a cuppa, Vietnam and its coffee traditions are sure to enchant you. From e-coffee kiosks along the highways to pretty cafes with unique flavours and local markets cocooned in the aroma of coffee beans – the beverage is synonymous with the country. Here's a quick look at the many coffees you can try on your trip: The OG Local markets in Vietnam – like Ho Chi Minh City ’s Ban Thanh market – have vendors selling a wide variety of coffee beans – from the Insta-famous weasel coffee (the berries are consumed by a civet, partially digested and excreted; the beans are then cleaned and roasted) to flavours like coconut, hazelnut and vanilla.
