has revealed the location of its first Australian experience centre, one of two retail locations it has announced for our market. or signup to continue reading The General Motors luxury brand is set to begin work on developing its 841m2 premises within the Rosebery Engine Yards retail and lifestyle precinct. The new centre will house five garaged and seven external branded parking bays, three secure undercover servicing bays, multiple delivery bays, and "state-of-the-art" vehicle service facilities.

It'll be the first of its kind in Australia for Cadillac, though it plans to open a similar centre in Melbourne. It's also opening one in Auckland as part of its launch in the New Zealand market. Cadillac will launch in Australia this year.



The Rosebery Engine Yards opened earlier this year. Located in Sydney's inner south, it's designed as a mixed-use area for socialising and shopping. It's a heritage-listed site and already houses a range of other shops and retailers, though Cadillac is set to be the only car brand at the location.

General Motors (GM) Australia and New Zealand managing director Jess Bala said it was a "pleasure" to eventually be able to invite prospective customers on site to get to know the Cadillac brand. "It feels natural to bring Australia's first Cadillac Experience Centre to such a contemporary, open, and authentic space," she said. "It's a pleasure to be able to invite guests closer to one of the world's great brands, where they can experience the luxury evolution of Cadillac first-hand.

" Cadillac's foray into Australia is this year, with the brand launching initially only with the all-electric SUV. It's possible the Optiq and Vistiq SUVs could join it at some point, though only the former has been confirmed for right-hand drive production so far. Ms Bala also such as the Escalade V8 from eventually joining the range, however it has yet to officially confirm any.

The Lyriq is currently being produced in right-hand drive at Cadillac's Tennessee factory, and will join the as GM's only factory-produced right-hand drive model for Australia.
