Shoppers have already spotted chocolate eggs from the likes of Cadbury, Nestle, Lindt and Terry's in stores across the UK ahead of Easter 2025. Some Easter treats were even out before Christmas, mixing in among Quality Street, Celebrations, Heroes and Roses tubs.

But Mondelēz International (Cadbury owners) has revealed it is not always the company's decision as to how early Easter eggs hit supermarkets, as retailers are free to choose when products appear on shelves. A Mondelēz International spokesperson explained: "Most of our range will be available from January 2025, through to Easter and as long as stocks last. "Due to supply chain reasons, some products will be on shelves a little earlier than that.
