Travio Ward, 37, lives in Killeen, works in Harker Heights. What is your job / occupation? Entrepreneur/ business owner/actor/ inventor Married? Kids? (Would you like to mention spouse and kids’ names?) Single and Travio Jr. Tell me about your parents.

I was raised by a strong, beautiful, single mother. The most phenomenal person I’ve ever met. Worked hard and showed and taught me if you want something, go after it.

What brought you to this area? My mom decided to move here when I was 3 years old from Waco, Texas. Where are you from originally? Waco. Do you have any siblings? I have four siblings ( I don’t wish to mention them).

What do you like about Harker Heights? Harker Heights is a fast- growing area, that gives you that southern hometown feel with a splash of a small city energy. Very nice place to raise kids and succeed. What do you dislike about Harker Heights? The one thing I dislike about Harker Heights is there definitely could be more things built around our youth.

We have no youth centers for children and teens to really just go and have fun and hang out. Somewhere safe to socialize while being able to learn, as well. We need more things that can stimulate our youth’s minds, which benefits the growth and development of our young people.

What is your favorite restaurant in Harker Heights? Razzoo’s. Where is your favorite place to shop in Harker Heights? Old Navy. If you could change one thing about Harker Heights, what would it be and why? More things built around fun like a Main Event, Dave and Busters, and nice brunch spots.

Simply because we need more life here. What do you think that Harker Heights is missing? Community youth projects. What community work do you do? Trash pick-ups, mentoring, volunteering when I’m available.

What is the last book that you read? “Millionaire Mindset and Habits for Success.” What is the last movie that you saw? “Inside Out 2.” What advice would you give your younger self? Disassociate yourself from people who don’t have your best interest or make you better.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years? Still living in Central Texas, a multimillionaire, son in his senior year, invention booming, and married..
