MILLIONS watched as Kate Middleton tied the knot with Prince William in a fairytale ceremony over a decade ago. And it turns out that royal fans may have missed a sweet question Kate asked her new husband in the carriage ride after they left Westminster Abbey. According to royal biographer Robert Jobson, the beautiful bride has a three-word query as they left the church.

He wrote in his new book, Catherine: The Princess of Wales: The Biography, that as Will and Kate climbed into their “one-topped carriage”, she turned to him and asked “are you happy?” William is said to have sweetly responded: “It was amazing. I’m so proud you’re my wife”. The future King and Queen celebrated 13 years of marriage privately this year - as Kate continues to recover following her cancer diagnosis.



She praised her husband for his support during "an incredibly tough couple of months for our entire family" in an emotional message to the nation this year announcing her health news. "Having William by my side is a great source of comfort and reassurance," she said. Kate, 42, told how her diagnosis had come as a huge shock and that she and William "have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family".

Kate and William first met while studying art history at St Andrew’s University , where the Prince fell head over heels for Kate during a charity fashion show she was modelling in. The loved-up Prince said at the time: "We had a little private time away together with some friends, and I just decided it was the right time, really. On April 29, 2011, the happy couple tied the knot at Westminster Abbey in London in a televised event which was watched by millions all over the world.

Prince William revealed in their interview with BBC that he knew from the start that Kate was different from other people. He said in their engagement interview: "From my point of view, when I first met Kate, I knew there was something very special about her.” When asked what drew them together, it turns out her “naughty sense of humour” was the tipping point.

He said: “She’s got a really naughty sense of humour, which really helps me because I’ve got a really dirty sense of humour so it was good fun, we had a really good laugh, and then things happened.” And it appears that Prince William is a very caring partner towards Kate. Swoon.

She previously told Hello! how much of a gentleman William is, and said: "You know, over the years William has looked after me, he's treated me very well — as the loving boyfriend he is, he is very supportive of me through the good times and also through the bad times.” In April 2011, Prince William and Kate Middleton tied the knot at Westminster Abbey in a ceremony watched around the world by millions of fans. Prince William added: “Obviously we both have a very fun time together, both have a very good sense of humour about things, we're down to earth, we take the mickey out of each other a lot, and she's got plenty of habits that make me laugh that I tease her about.".
