The annual event, scheduled from August 25 through September 2 , will mark its 38th year of celebration, as tens of thousands of festival goers come together for a themed event announced as "Curiouser & Curiouser." "It's a call to delve into the surreal, question the ordinary, and push the boundaries of imagination," the publication writes. "The 2024 Burning Man theme celebrates puzzles without answers, embraces the irrational and the absurd, and invites the unknown over for tea," reads the official website.
"Because it's in those timeless moments of not knowing, when we're consumed entirely by curiosity, that we experience our most profound learning, growth, and creativity. In a break from tradition, Burning Man organizers have announced that for the first time, tickets will be sold in advance of the festival. This year, hopeful attendees can snag their passes through the OMG Ticket Sale without pre-registration, a departure from past practices. According to the organizers' site, approximately 4,000 tickets will be available: 1,000 at $2,500 each and 3,000 at $1,500 each.
The FOMO sale limits orders to two passes and one vehicle pass. Approximately 15,000 tickets at $575 each, and approximately 5,000 vehicle passes are available at $150 each, plus applicable fees and taxes.
