Joshua. Patrick. Allen.

You beautiful, beautiful man. The Buffalo Bills buried the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday Night Football 47-10. It was beautiful.

Artistic, really. At the helm of it was Josh Allen, who put on an otherworldly performance in the first half alone. Allen finished the day with 263 passing yards, 44 rushing yards (307 total), four touchdown passes, took no sacks, had no turnovers, and completed passes to 10 different receivers.

Three of his four passing touchdowns were in the first half, with James Cook adding a rushing touchdown in the first half as well. This game was all but over before even heading to the break. I figured that Allen was primed for a big night , but man.

I couldn't have dreamed of this. Allen is the best quarterback in the NFL. Not top-5, not top-3; Allen is 1-of-1.

What makes this performance so special is Allen never looked uncomfortable, never looked like he was forcing it. He didn't make a single bad decision. He was in complete control of a varied and fluid offense that offensive coordinator Joe Brady is orchestrating beautifully .

The pre-snap motions, the route combinations – it's all hitting in harmony. Musicians refer to it as being "in the pocket" when they're playing in tempo, with the rhythm of the song. It's a feeling of almost letting go and surrendering to the music you're creating.

Allen was undeniably "in the pocket." We all know that Allen is capable of being Super Man. The beauty of this offense is that it doesn't rely on him being Super Man in order for it to flourish.

Time and time again, Allen was taking what was open, including hitting Khalil Shakir perfectly in stride to allow him to run after the catch. It was a perfect dot of a throw. Allen and the Bills currently look like the best team in football.

They've outscored their opponents 102-38 since halftime of Week 1, and they can beat you in a variety of different ways. This is as good a start to the season as anyone could have dreamed of for Buffalo. Let's go Bills.
