BTS’ Jin, having recently completed his military service, is delighting fans with fresh content. He is set to appear on the popular variety show “Half-Star Hotel in Lost Island,” where the latest preview shows him receiving praises from the cast and chef Lee Yong Bok for his culinary talents. On August 17 KST, MBC released a new preview showcasing BTS’ Jin in the forthcoming episode of the popular variety show Half-Star Hotel in Lost Island.

The preview opens with Jin preparing to chop an ingredient with extreme precision. Jin displays his post-military knife skills by slicing conch and oysters into perfectly linear and thin pieces, surprising the entire cast. Moreover, Jin receives commendation from the renowned Korean chef Lee Yong Bok, who beams with approval at witnessing the BTS member’s extraordinary culinary and knife skills.



Jin gains knowledge about eating and slicing sea cucumbers and is once more complimented on his skilled knife handling. It appears from the teaser that Jin will be a culinary pro in the next variety program. However, it also makes us curious about how Jin will adapt to the new environment and showcase his talents on the program.

The episode will premiere on August 19. Jin was discharged from military service on June 12, 2024, and the other BTS members took a break from their duties to greet him. The following day, the eldest member of BTS held a special event to celebrate FESTA 2024 on June 13, where he gave ‘light hugs’ to 1000 fortunate fans.

On August 13, 2024, Jin released his own unique variety spin-off of Run BTS, named Run Jin.In the episode Jin climbed to the top of Hallasan in the heart of Jeju Island only five days after being discharged. Furthermore, Jin has been named the brand ambassador for the luxury brand Gucci and has also hinted at an upcoming solo album release.

Following Jin, J-Hope is expected to complete his military service in October 2024..
