Bruce Willis was spotted in a rare public outing after his daughter spoke out about the star’s “painful” dementia battle. The 69-year-old Hollywood icon was diagnosed with aphasia in March 2022, which affects speech, and is caused by brain damage. His family, including second wife Emma Heming and ex-wife Demi Moore, said the Die Hard star would be focusing on his health and was retiring from his extensive acting career.

However, less than a year later, his family gave fans a sad update, as it was revealed Bruce had been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of frontotemporal dementia. The Pulp Fiction star has been seen occasionally since news was made public about his health, and just days after his daughter Tallulah gave a heartbreaking update on her beloved dad’s condition, Bruce was seen out and about in California. The actor was spotted being driven around Brentwood wearing a New York Yankees baseball cap, as he showed off his support for the baseball team.

Tallulah, 30, spoke about Bruce on the Today Show on Wednesday, as she discussed how he’s coping since being diagnosed with dementia. “He’s doing stable, which in this situation is good, and is hard. There’s painful days, but there’s so much love.

” She said Bruce’s blended family - including his children Tallulah, Rumer and Scout with ex Demi Moore, and daughters Mabel and Evelyn with wife Emma - have been “appreciative” of the time spent with their father. “It’s really shown me to not take any moment for granted, and I really do think that we’d be best friends,” she explained. “I think he’s very proud of me.

You have to be in the moment. You have to be present.” Her comments came just days after her mother Demi also spoke about Bruce, and was full of praise for the time she’s been able to spend with her ex-husband, who she was married to for 11 years.

“I think he’s doing, you know, given the givens, he is in a stable place. You know, it’s what I say to my kids is you meet them where they’re at. You don’t hold on to who they were or what you want them to be, but who they are in this moment,” the Ghost star said on The Drew Barrymore Show.

“And from that, there is such beauty and joy and loving and sweetness. When I’m in LA, I go over every week, and I really treasure the time that we all share.” Follow Mirror Celebs on TikTok , Snapchat , Instagram , Twitter , Facebook , YouTube and Threads .
