However, less than a year later, his family shared a heartbreaking update: Bruce had been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of frontotemporal dementia. The Pulp Fiction star since his health news became public. Just days after his daughter Tallulah shared a heart-wrenching update on her father's condition, Bruce was spotted out and about in California on Wednesday.



The actor was seen being chauffeured around Brentwood, sporting a New York Yankees baseball cap. There was a person next to him also wearing a cap and clear rimmed glasses. Tallulah, 30, opened up about her father's condition on the Today Show on Wednesday.

She discussed how he's managing since his dementia diagnosis, reports . "He's doing stable, which in this situation is good, and is hard. There's painful days, but there's so much love," The fashion designer said.

She mentioned that her blended family - including her two others sisters, Rumer and Scout, from their mother Demi, and her younger half-siblings, Mabel and Evelyn, from stepmom Emma - have been "appreciative" of the time spent with their father. "It's really shown me to not take any moment for granted, and I really do think that we'd be best friends," she explained. "I think he's very proud of me.

You have to be in the moment. You have to be present." Her comments came just days after her mother Demi also spoke about Bruce, and was full of praise for the time she's been able to spend with her ex-husband, who she was married to for 11 years.

"I think he's doing, you know, given the givens, he is in a stable place. You know, it's what I say to my kids is you meet them where they're at. You don't hold on to who they were or what you want them to be, but who they are in this moment," the Ghost star said on The Drew Barrymore Show.

"And from that, there is such beauty and joy and loving and sweetness. When I'm in LA, I go over every week, and I really treasure the time that we all share.".
