It’s been one year since Britney Spears and her ex-husband Sam Asghari filed for divorce after nearly 15 months of marriage. The former couple wed after dating for six years in June 2022. They announced their divorce in August 2023.
Now, Spears has shared a video of the day she says she married herself. On Oct 20, Spears took to Instagram to share a video of herself in a white silky dress and a lace veil draped over her head. In typical Spears fashion, she filmed herself striking several poses.
But people are taking note of what she said in the caption. “The day I married myself,” Spears wrote. “Bringing it back because it might seem embarrassing or stupid, but I think it’s the most brilliant thing I’ve ever done!!!” In December 2022, six months after marrying Asghari, Spears shared the exact video for the first time.
