BRITNEY Spears' recent outing with ex-boyfriend Paul Soliz has sparked concern among her friends and family members. Britney, 39, reportedly began dating her former housekeeper, Paul, around the time her ex-husband, Sam Asghari , filed for divorce in August 2023. Less than a year later, the Toxic hitmaker declared she was "single as f***" in a since-deleted message on Instagram , adding, "I will never be with another man as long as I live!!!" However, new photographs obtained by TMZ sparked reconciliation fears, as Britney allegedly joined Paul for lunch at SoHo House in Malibu on July 30.

They were also photographed leaving the exclusive, members-only club together in a black SUV, as seen in the pictures published on August 2. Speaking to TMZ, a source close to Britney reportedly said her loved ones are "confused and concerned" that she's spending time with Paul just weeks after their alleged break-up. S. Sun has reached out to Britney's representatives for comment. An insider allegedly told the publication that members of Britney's inner circle are "worried about Paul's criminal past" amid fears he is "using" her.

According to court documents obtained by US Weekly , Soliz has been charged with multiple misdemeanors over the years, including child endangerment and driving without a license. He was arrested for possession of a firearm by a felon and unlawful possession of ammunition in December 2020. Most read in Celebrity Paul pleaded no contest to the charges and was sentenced to two years probation, the outlet reported.

He also served 90 days in prison. Britney has previously called Paul, 37, out for the way he handled a run-in with the paparazzi. On July 7, Britney took to her Instagram Stories to share a paparazzi photo of her and Paul in a car.

The images showed her ducked low in the passenger seat, with Paul using his hand to cover his face in front of the cameras. "Why was he going 90 in a neighborhood with one pap following only to roll the window down when the pap pulls to the side of me ????” she questioned Paul's behavior in screenshots obtained by Page Six . In September 2021, Britney's case returned to a Los Angeles courtroom where Judge Brenda Penny made a number of bombshell rulings, following her father's decision to end the conservatorship the month prior.

She ruled to rid Jamie of his daughter's conservatorship, however, it did not mean the end of the conservatorship altogether . Speaking in court, Judge Brenda Penny said: "Based on what I read in the filings, and I read everything. I do believe the suspension of Jamie Spears is in the best interest of Britney Spears.

"The current situation is unattainable. The court finds the toxic environment Jamie Spears has created needs to be removed today." Following the judge's decision, a temporary conservator was put in Jamie's place for about a month.

In early November 2021, Jamie was back in court filing new legal documents that show he's done fighting. Jamie had previously demanded $2 million in exchange for stepping down but documents at the time showed that he was not seeking any further compensation. On November 12, Judge Penny ruled in favor of the pop star, removing Jamie from the position of conservator without requiring any further mental examination from Britney.

“Then he calls his mom and says he’s being harassed,” she added. “Why did he roll the window down with me crying in the seat???” Britney made headlines in May when photos of her being escorted out of the luxury Hollywood hotel Chateau Marmont by paramedics emerged online. While it was initially reported that Britney twisted her ankle after an alleged altercation with Paul, she subsequently insisted "the news is fake" in a series of messages posted on Instagram.

Britney claimed "I really twisted my ankle" while trying to do "a leap" in her suite at the hotel, adding, "Paramedics came to my door illegally, of course causes this huge scene, and all I needed was ice.” She also praised her lawyer Mathew Rosengart , who helped end her conservatorship of 13 years, as a "wonderful" man who "got me through" the ordeal. S. Sun previously revealed that none of the singer's friends "like Paul," adding, "We don't trust that he isn't just a grifter." They also commented on Britney's response to the incident at Chateau Marmont, adding she "believes that she is the target of a smear campaign.

" The source added that Britney thinks it's "comical" that some people are "concerned" she can't manage her own life, but she didn't seem as worried about her stress "when they're making money from her."
