A teaser advertisement for Oasis' upcoming concert in Korea, revealed on the band's official social media account, Wednesday / Captured from Oasis X account By KTimes Recently reunited British rock band Oasis has confirmed plans for a concert in Korea, marking their first performance in the country since 2009. Oasis posted a teaser on their official social media accounts featuring text in Korean, English and Japanese that read “Friday, November 22.” The post included a photo of a billboard at COEX in Seoul's Gangnam District, displaying the band members Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher alongside the Korean phrase “말이 씨가 된다” (words become seeds or what you say can come true).

Oasis has used similar teaser campaigns in confirmed concert locations in the past. While the exact date and venue for the Korea concert will be officially revealed on Nov. 22, the post all but confirms their return.



The upcoming performance will be their third in Korea, following their 2006 debut concert and their 2009 performance before disbanding later that year. If they perform in Korea next year, it will mark a 16-year gap since their last meeting with local fans.
